Ceramic sculptures that were on display: Climatic Distortion, Bubble, Back to Front, Lagoon, Composing Contrast.
This exhibition was helped made possible by the owners of Hours Space Sophie Howard & Nigel Shipley, as well as all the artists who took part.
It was an interesting ehxibitition as we had the opportunity to curate it ourself so this allowed for a lot of flexibility for the display of artworks. We also wanted to have a mix of different artworks and so this included calligraphy, painting, ceramic tableware, ceramic art and digital art. It wag good seeing it all come together as this created a diverse combination of artworks.
As for the title Ways of Seeing we hope this was reflected in the work on show. It was our mission to present artworks that would come together to actively encourage new ways of engaging with the audience through diverse forms and colours to generate curiosity.
